Dear friends,
We are really looking forward to hosting you later today for the annual 'Oxbridge Late Summer Dream' at the UN Beach ! ️
We have now sent the total number of attendance (98), among which the number of confirmed dinners (22) at the UN & UN Beach reps.
On a (very) practical note:
As you arrive...
1. If you have a car, you can: a) park in the UN Beach free-on-site parking as you enter the gate (But there are very limited spaces unless you come very early, at your risk & peril); b) park further up past the UN Beach in parking Reposoir (there is a reasonable amount of available spaces ); and c) Sécheron parking (there might be plenty of spaces).
2. If you do not have a car, this is very good news! You can either walk it, cycle it, bus it or train it which, of course, is better for us and our environ! Right?
3. As you enter the UN Beach, from 6pm, you just need to mention your name (and / or your host name for those coming as (your) guests) at the UN Beach and pay the CHF 5.- entry fees per head.
4. Once you are in, you can either go straight to the cocktails bar by the DJ, you cannot miss it, or go to the UN Beach restaurant from 6.30 pm if you have booked it. The restaurant is straight on the left hand side as you enter the Port and leave the cocktail bar behind you. In doubt, ASK! The event is very flexible you can come, leave and do as you wish (up to a reasonable point), provided there is room for that! There might be more availability/ opportunities for dinner at the UN Beach restaurant as they are not expecting that many people ! Stay tuned!
5. If you get lost, you could always use the UN Beach entrance as a point of reference, notifying the gate keeper that you are for members of the Oxbridge club or simply mention my name - Ludovic Claude. I will be popping by now and then to check on the lost sheep!
6. Last but not Least, Toilet facilities are towards the UN Beach restaurant as you walk pass it on the left hand side, with the cocktail bar behind you. If in doubt, ASK!

Join us for an unforgettable end-of-summer drinks and networking event at the picturesque UN Beach on Friday, September 1st, 2023, starting from 6 pm. We extend a warm welcome to all guests.
To gain entry to the event, simply pay CHF 5.- at the entrance of UN Port. Afterward, enjoy the freedom to pay as you consume!
Prepare for an evening of pure enjoyment with a talented professional DJ, weather permitting.
If you wish to attend, kindly register your name and the names of your guests, on the 'Internal Note' on the right side of your registration form. This information will help us inform the UN Beach reception about the expected number of attendees, ensuring a smooth and secure event.
The UN Beach boasts a delightful restaurant, so if you plan on dining after the event, please inform us in advance:
1. If you have not yet registered
By including your/your guests' dinner interest in the 'Internal Note' of your registration form' or by sending us an email. We will gladly reserve your place accordingly. Given that we were only able to book two table for about 20 attendants maximum, seats will be allocated first -come, first-served for those who'd like to dine in, and takeaway pizza is an option if needed.
2. If you have already registered:
By contacting the administrator, either by email or by WhatsApp, so they can update your registration with your guests' names and dinner interest, should you like to dine in.
