Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Christophe George
Dr. Christophe George is part of EY Switzerland’s Sustainability Team and a Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for Business Research. His research lies at the intersection of company law, management, and sustainable finance.
Biography
His doctoral thesis, titled Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility: How to Tackle Environmental Imperatives in Company Law? (Legal and Management Perspectives), explores the integration of environmental and social issues into company law, offering both practical and theoretical insights. It was awarded the 2023 Law Faculty Prize of the University of Lausanne and published in October 2023 (Stämpfli Publishers, 950 pages).
Dr. George holds a PhD in Company Law and Management from the University of Lausanne, a Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Cambridge, a Master in Management from Harvard University, and a Master in Law and Economics from HEC Lausanne. He has held visiting research positions at the University of Oxford and the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law.

How to get there:
The restaurant is at Port Choiseul, Versoix, overlooking the lake by the beach.
Public transport to Pont Ceard Station is within the TPG reseau and so CHF3 for an adult, using any bus or train. The Leman Express runs every 15 minutes, journey 17 minutes from Cornevin, and the walk from the station about 10 minutes.
There is plenty of car parking in the road leading to the restaurant (Chemin des Graviers) free after 19h and with a minimal charge if arriving earlier.
