The CERN Croquet Club has graciously granted us access to their lawns on Saturday, 20th July. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, 21st July.

Location: CERN site de Prevessin. You can reach it:

• Via the D35 from Ferney towards St Genis.
• From the route de Merin, take the C11 (first right after the frontier) to the end of the road.

Public Transport: The lawns are now accessible by bus. Take bus 66 from the airport, which departs at 09:43 and takes approximately one hour. From the bus stop, it’s a 7-minute walk to the lawns.

Event Schedule

The event will follow the same format as in previous years:

Welcome Aperitif: Starting at 11:00 AM, provided by the O&C Club.

BBQ: Members should bring their own provisions. The BBQ is planned for around 13:30. The club provides utensils, plates, glasses, and washing-up facilities.

Refreshments

Drinks: Affordable drinks will be available on a self-service basis from the club bar. Please settle your tab with me. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages.

Attendance Details

To ensure access to the event, I need the details of all attendees for day passes. These details will be lodged with the CERN guards. Please provide the following information by 17th July:

• Name
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Car registration

I would prefer to register more people and have some not attend than to have attendees turned away at the gate at 10:30 on the day. Please inform me if your plans change.

Family-Friendly

The event is suitable for families, so feel free to bring along family members.
