The Oxford and Cambridge Club of Geneva is pleased to invite you to a very special and glorious Evensong performed by the Choir of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, on Friday, 10 April 2026.
The service will begin at 18:00 sharp at Holy Trinity Church Geneva (14bis Rue du Mont-Blanc, 1201 Geneva). Guests are kindly requested to arrive early to ensure timely seating.
A reception with refreshments will follow in the church hall, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow members, guests, and visiting choristers from Emmanuel College.
This promises to be a memorable evening. The visit of the Emmanuel College Choir offers a rare chance to experience one of Cambridge’s finest choral traditions here in Geneva, in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church. We warmly encourage members and guests to join us for this exceptional Anglo-Genevan occasion.
FYI: The Choir will also give an informal concert at St. Pierre Cathedral on Thursday, 9 April at 16:00. Please note that this is a separate venue from Holy Trinity Church. Refreshments
A selection of Indian cuisine will be served after the service in a relaxed and convivial setting. The menu includes salmon and vegetarian canapés, chicken and vegetarian kofta, garlic naan, and gulab jamun, a traditional Indian dessert.
Red (Merlot) and white (Chardonnay) wines will be available (up to three glasses per person). Non-alcoholic options include apple and orange juice, and water.
Price: CHF 20 per person (refreshments only), payable online via WildApricot.
Attendance at the Evensong itself is, of course, open to all.

Dress code: Smart casual.
Getting there: Holy Trinity Church (14bis Rue du Mont-Blanc) is a short walk from Genève-Cornavin and easily accessible from central Geneva. Genève-Cornavin is the most convenient public transport stop. If arriving by car, please allow extra time, as parking in the area can be limited in the early evening.
Registration: Please register below. To facilitate organisation, advance registration is appreciated. The Evensong is free of charge; refreshments are CHF 20 per person, payable via WildApricot. Members may register for the Evensong only or for both the service and refreshments.
N.B. Member payment is required to minimise no-shows and ensure effective budget planning and visibility. Refreshments for choristers and Emmanuel College members and alumni are, of course, provided free of charge.
